It is really irritating when people do not follow the law and scoop up their dog's poop! Obviously they don't feel threatened by the fines that they may face if found out that they didn't pick up the litter. Not only does it look and smell disgusting, it's really bad when people tread in it!! It shouldn't be left for everyone to view...it should be scooped!
I understand that it isn't exactly a nice job, having to pick up poo, but I personally would much rather clear up my dogs mess than paying £1000 to the council!
I didn't realise that dog poop can lead to a serious disease called toxocariasis which can cause swelling of the body’s organs and in some cases blindness. This being the case, I definately think that people should really make the effort to clean up the dog mess. They make the effort to have the responsibility to own a dog, so really they should understand that as a dog owner scooping the poop is a responsibility they have and therefore they must conform to the law.
The council hand out free poop scoop bags therefore meaning the dog owner doesn't necessarily have to buy their own, which means they should really follow the law in cleaning up after their mut. I think that people are very lazy nowadays and if they think that they can get away with it, then they are most likely going to try to. Unfortunately it is the rest of us who have to suffer for their laziness.
