I agree with Claire that people who are clearly not disabled park in the disabled bays because they are too lazy to walk a bit further, and they think they can get away with it, and most of the time unfortunately they can!
My little brother is disabled and whenever we park there, and are getting out of the car it is amazing to see the amount of people staring at us, to make sure one of the group actually has a disability, and it shouldn't be like that! It just goes to show that people are aware that it happens, but nothing is being done about it! People who aren't disabled should be glad they're not, therefore it shouldn't bother them to have to walk a little bit further!
