Prostitution

If prostitution was legalised then I think that it would make the people involved a lot safer and protected. I was shocked to read an article about a 14 year old girl who, for her weekend job, was a prostitute. What is the world coming to? She is not at a legal age to have sex but this has not stopped men of who knows what age, committing an offence with her. Prostitutes are well known for earning thousands of pounds a week or so, for doing what they do, so I can see the attraction there however I do not agree with prostitution at all. If it was legalised, meaning safe sex was practised and all customers and workers were of a legal age then maybe things would be different.

When newspapers report that prostitutes have been killed, such as the 5 prostitutes in Ipswich who were all killed by Steve Wright, should this not scare other girls/women who sell themselves for money? They are no longer just at risk of an STI, but they are putting themselves at risk of death. Never take sweets from a stranger? Never take money from a stranger!! They have no idea whose car they are getting into, and surely for many of the women who prostitute think about the danger they may be getting into. But this does not stop them, what will? It is quite worrying to think that more and more girls are getting involved in this just because the amount of money they could earn is such an attraction.

  1. Prostitution should definitely be legalized and laws should be put into place that make it safe for women in the business. All Johns and pros have for support currently are review communities like Naughty Reviews to comfortably discuss the biz.
